法学院简介
2020年9月，根据中国社会科学院大学院系调整暨推进科教融合改革工作方案，中国社会科学院大学正式成立法学院。学院主要依托中国社会科学院大学和中国社会科学院法学研究所、国际法研究所多方优势，通过科教融合新模式培养高端法学人才。学院首任院长由中国社会科学院学部委员、时任法学研究所所长陈甦教授担任。现任院长由中国社会科学院法学研究所所长莫纪宏教授担任。
学院现有法学本科专业学位点、法学一级学科硕士学位点、法律硕士专业学位点、法学一级学科博士学位点（系全国首批设立法学一级学科博士点六家单位之一）和博士后流动站（设立于中国社会科学院法学研究所），目前在校生1000余人，在站博士后研究人员28人。
学院现有专任教师162人，其中特聘教师7人，教授59人，副教授55人，讲师41人。在六十余年的学科发展历程中，涌现出张友渔、李光灿、王叔文、王家福、吴大英、李步云、吴建璠、谢怀栻、郑成思、王保树、梁慧星等学术名家，王家福、李步云、马骧聪、刘海年、张庆福5位先生被中国法学会授予“全国杰出资深法学家”荣誉称号。学院共有7人当选中国社会科学院学部委员、7人当选荣誉学部委员，其中，在职学部委员有李林、孙宪忠、陈甦，在法学学科领域具有突出重要影响。
学院教研人员入选国家重大人才工程或获得重要荣誉称号专家70余人次，包括改革开放四十年先锋人物1人，全国先进工作者1人；享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家40人，入选国家万人计划哲学社会科学领军人才2人，万人计划青年拔尖人才2人，文化名家暨“四个一批”人才2人，百千万人才工程国家级人选6人；获全国杰出青年法学家11人。学院教研人员现任国内外权威期刊主编、副主编的有9人。2016年以来，学院教研人员有45人次出任全国一级专业学会中的会长、副会长或秘书长。
学院科研成果丰硕，近5年在《中国社会科学》《法学研究》《中国法学》三大权威期刊中发文40余篇，在法学核心期刊(CLSCI)发文400余篇，出版专著208部，承担国家社科基金及省部级重大项目、重点项目和中国社会科学院重大项目50余项，获得国内外重要奖项50余项。法学学科在国内、国际共建合作培养、调研基地与平台100余个。
改革开放以来，共有王家福、李林等4人次给中央政治局集体学习授课，5人次担任中南海法制讲座主讲人；学院教研人员共承担中央及有关部门交办委托课题百余项，在民法典等400余项立法活动中参与起草、修改、审议，为国家立法和重大法治决策发挥重要作用。
学院高度重视国际交流工作，与国外数十家著名法学院和法学研究机构建立交流合作关系，莫纪宏院长担任国际宪法学协会名誉主席（终身），柳华文副院长担任联合国禁止酷刑委员会委员，亚洲国际法学会副会长，为扩大中国法学学科的国际影响、在国际社会发出中国声音等方面，作出重要贡献。
学院充分发挥中国社会科学院法学研究所、国际法研究所的师资和科研优势，依托《法学研究》《环球法律评论》《国际法研究》《民商法论丛》及众多学术与实践平台，构建具有中国社会科学院大学特色的科研创新型人才培养模式。近年来，学院人才培养成效卓著，毕业生就职于法学科研、教育领域以及党政机关、司法和监察部门、律师事务所、大型企业等实务部门，为法治中国建设做出作出应有贡献。
今后，学院将继续坚持正确的政治方向和学术导向，强调法学理论与法治实践相结合，着力从“师承制”“国际化”和“本硕博一体化培养”等三方面发展，聚焦英才教育，培养拥护党的领导、具有家国情怀和国际视野、具备扎实法律理论功底和职业素养的复合型、创新型、国际型和引领型的高端法治人才。

Introduction to Law School of UCASS
According to the Program Restructuring the Faculties and Departments of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS) and Promoting the Fusion of Research and Education, the Law School of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was established in September 2020. With the purpose of cultivating high-end legal talents through a new model of integration of research and education, the School incorporates the Law School of China Youth University of Political Sciences and absorbs the multiple advantages of the Institute of Law and the Institute of International Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). The first dean of the School was Professor Su Chen, a member of the Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and then director of the Institute of Law. The current dean is Professor Jihong Mo, director of the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The School currently provides the undergraduate programs, the master of Jurisprudences programs, the LL.M. programs, Ph.D. programs (set up in the predecessor of the University, the then Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, which was among the first 6 institutes authorized in China to confer doctorate degrees in law) and postdoctoral programs (set up in the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). Until September, 2024, there are more than 1,000 students on the campus and 28 postdoctoral researchers.
The School boasts a team of 162 highly qualified faculties and staffs, of which 7 distinguished professors, 59 professors, 55 associate professors and 41 assistant professors. During the development of the discipline for more than 60 years, there have emerged lots of famous scholars such as Youyu Zhang, Guangcan Li, Shuwen Wang, Jiafu Wang, Daying Wu, Buyun Li, Jianfan Wu, Huaishi Xie, Chengsi Zheng, Baoshu Wang, Huixing Liang and so on. Jiafu Wang, Buyun Li, Xiangcong Ma, Hainian Liu and Qingfu Zhang have been awarded the honorary title of “National Outstanding Senior Jurist” by the China Law Society. Besides, 7 of the distinguished professors of the School were elected as academic committees and 7 as the honorary academic committees of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Among them, the current academic committees, Lin Li, Xianzhong Sun and Su Chen, have owned great honors in the field of research and education.
The faculties of the School have been awarded for more than 70 national major talent projects and scholarships and honors, including one Pioneer of the Forty Years of Reform and Opening-up and one National Advanced Worker; 40 enjoying the State Council's special governmental allowances, 2 enrolled in the leading philosophical and social sciences talents of the National Ten Thousand People's Plan, 2 the National High-level Talents Special Support Program (Ten Thousand Talents Program), 2 cultural celebrities and “Four Batches” talents, 6 national candidates for the Project of One Million Talents and 11 own the title of “National Outstanding Young Jurist”. 9 teaching or research staff members of the School currently serve as chief editors or deputy chief editors of authoritative domestic and foreign journals. Since 2016, 45 teaching and research staff members of the college have served as presidents, vice presidents or secretaries-general in national first-level professional associations.
In the past five years, the faculties have made great achievements in scientific research, publishing more than 40 articles in the three authoritative journals (China Social Science, the Chinese Journal of Law and the China Legal Sciences), more than 400 articles in the core journals of law (CLSCI), 208 monographs, undertaking more than 50 projects of the National Social Science Foundation and major provincial or ministerial-level projects and major projects of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and obtaining more than 50 important domestic and international prizes. The School has built more than 100 cooperative training & research bases and platforms at home and abroad.
Since the Reform and Opening up of China, Jiafu Wang, Lin Li and others have given lectures to the Politburo of the Central Committee for collective study, and 5 served as lecturers on the Rule of Law at Zhongnanhai; the faculties of the School have undertaken more than 100 commissioned projects from the Central Authorities and other relevant departments, participated in drafting, modification, and deliberation of more than 400 legislation such as the Civil Code etc. and played an important role in the national legislation and major rule of law decision-making.
The School attaches great importance to international exchanges and has established exchanges and cooperation with dozens of famous law schools and law research institutions abroad. Dean Jihong Mo is the lifelong Honorary President of the International Association of Constitutional Law; Vice Dean Huawen Liu is a member of the United Nations Committee Against Torture and the Vice President of the Asian Society of International Law. They have made important contributions to expanding the international influence of the Chinese legal discipline and making China's voice heard in the international community.
Giving full play to the teaching and research advantages of the Institute of Law and the Institute of International Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and relying on journals such as the Chinese Journal of Law, the Global Law Review, the Chinese review of international law, and the Civil and Commercial Law Review as well as many other academic and practical platforms, the School builds a research and cultivation mode for innovative talents with the characteristics of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In recent years, the School has achieved outstanding achievements in cultivating talents. The graduates are employed in the fields of law research and education, as well as in the practical departments of the Communist Party and state organs, judicial and supervisory departments, law firms, large-scale enterprises etc. and have made contributions to the construction of rule of law in China.
In the future, the School will continue to adhere to the correct political direction and academic orientation, emphasize the combination of legal theory and rule of law practice, focus on the development of the “apprenticeship”, “internationalization” and “integrated cultivation of undergraduates and graduates”, highlight the education of excellence and cultivate high-end rule of law talents, who support the leadership of the Party, have a sense of the country and an international outlook and possess a solid foundation of legal theories and professionalism.
